A great way to keep your event organised

Are you looking for a great way to keep your event organised?

It all starts with the right 'Invitation' and ends when you send the 'Thank You for Attending' notes.

But how can you keep track of who is or isn't coming? Who is bringing someone with them and who maybe able to make it if nothing more spectacular comes up?

Gone are the days when your only option was to get a printer to send out your invites or for you to go to the shop and buy a pad of 25 daggy looking invites and then have to wait by the phone for the RSVP. Whether your event is an intimate dinner or a large scale conference, why not harness the power of the internet to keep it all organised.

Ok so I send out an email to everyone...Wrong you can create great looking invites that suit your style by choosing from exclusive galleries or upload your favorite image (even a pdf will work), you’ll find a design so uniquely yours, your guests will think it’s custom made (oh wait, it is).

Remember all those times you sent an invite or ecard and thought, “but I had so much more to say”? Well, now you can say exactly what you want. You can even post pictures, videos, add a google map and collect money or add gift/charity registries. If you want to go Ad Free (by removing the Pingg.com logo) you can for a small fee.

And to top it all off you don't have to be the organisation genie Pingg.com make it easy to manage your guests, sort your guest lists, send reminders, thank-you notes and more. And all from one place.

Take a look by clicking here for free stylish online invites and announcements.

How to: Access Your Computer Remotely

Has this happened to you: You have a meeting 200kms away and you thought you had all the files you needed on your Laptop but upon arriving at your client you realise there was a file missing?

Or maybe you need to help your slightly less tech savy parents learn how to use Facebook, but they've retired to rural Tasmania, just near the beautiful Freycinet National Park, and you are based in the Central West of NSW (which is 1,507kms away according to Google Maps).

Wouldn't it be good to be able to access your computer remotely from anywhere – FREE.

Well you can!

LogMeIn Free gives you fast, easy remote access to your PC from any computer with an Internet connection. It is available for PCs and Macs and it works cross-platform.

How to: Share your screen

Are you needing an economical way to show others what you are doing on your desktop? Have you thought of using Skype?

So you are one of the millions of Skype users but didn't know you could show your callers what you were doing on your screen. This is not for people that need to allow control of their screen to the friend/colleague/tech support guru. It is simply to show the person your calling what you are doing.

How is this of benefit? Just yesterday I needed to ensure that the information I was using to create a recurring subscription in PayPal was what the client wanted. I opened Skype, selected their name in my list of contacts, right-clicked and chose "Share Your Screen". This initiated a voice call with that contact and gave them view of my screen. You can select if you want to give a full view or just a section of your screen.

So the next time you need to just show someone what you are doing on your screen why not try using Skype!
